"My Great Great Grandmother was Caroline "Carrie" T. Witham, born in Portland, Cumberland, Maine in 1847, one of 9 children of John Benjamin Witham Sr. and Ann Pauline Akers (Both of Maine). I do not have a photograph of Carrie but I DO have a photograph of her brother John B. Witham JR.
With the help of another Witham researcher, it is believed that John B. Witham Sr's father was Obadiah (Obediah) Witham, and mother was Mrs. Judith LeBarron (Maiden name as of yet, unkn).
My Great Great Grandmother Carrie married 3, if not, 4 times. Her first husband died during the battle of Petersburg, VA, the same battle her brother John fought in and survived. Carrie's son, my Great Grandfather, was George Atwood Wilson Jr. I am including a pic of Carrie's brother and a picture of my Great Grandfather George. As well as John Jr's obit and a news article about him. I have a LOT of records and such pertaining to John B. Witham Sr. & Ann P. Akers and their children. If any one is interested I have names and dates, spouses and children for each of John and Ann's children."
